About this fabric

This Sanderson x Giles Deacon fabric has a substantial 402 gsm body and a usable width of 141 cm, making it a versatile mid-weight choice for either upholstery or drapery. The print is built from large-scale floral clusters in powdery blue, teal, cream and touches of soft gold, set on a warm ivory ground that keeps the pattern feeling light rather than heavy. The woven-looking surface and crisp pattern edges give the colourway a tailored, smart finish, while the 60 cm vertical repeat and 46 cm horizontal repeat create a rhythmic, repeated botanical layout. With no performance features noted, it is best treated as a decorative fabric where the colour and pattern can remain the focus.

How to use it

Use it on a feature chair, buttoned headboard or relaxed curtains where the soft blue and gold palette can bring a fresh, heritage feel. It sits well with chalky paint colours, pale oak and muted brass details.

Pair with pale timber and warm neutrals to let the blue florals stay crisp and elegant.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
