Lakeland Paradis Velvet Sandstone
Sanderson x Giles Deacon Fabric VelvetSAF0429-01
Lakeland Paradis Velvet Sandstone shows a soft sandstone-pink ground lifted by painterly florals in cream, teal and coral. The velvet surface gives the design a warm, plush depth that suits a richly layered interior.

About this fabric
This Sanderson x Giles Deacon velvet has a 133 cm usable width, a 59 cm vertical repeat and a 44 cm horizontal repeat, with a substantial 416 gsm weight and 57.7 threads per cm. In this colourway, the ground reads as a muted warm pink with a peachy sandstone cast rather than a bright blush. The floral trail feels decorative and romantic, with cream blooms, teal foliage and touches of coral that sit clearly against the softer backdrop. The velvet finish adds a low, rich lustre, helping the pattern feel more sumptuous and slightly more saturated where the pile catches the light.
How to use it
This sandstone pink works beautifully on an occasional chair, headboard or ottoman, especially where the cream and teal in the pattern can be picked up in cushions or accessories. Pair it with aged brass, walnut and chalky neutrals to keep the room warm and composed.
Use for statement upholstery where the soft pink ground can warm up richer blues and coral tones in the print.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lakeland Paradis Velvet Sandstone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
