Sanderson x Giles Deacon Fabric FabricSAF0432-04

Bright cobalt-blue pinstripes sit cleanly against a warm linen ground, giving this swatch a fresh, tailored look. The narrow vertical rhythm reads crisp and orderly rather than bold or busy.

About this fabric

Regency Aperigon Brighton Blue/Linen from the Sanderson x Giles Deacon Fabric collection is a substantial fabric at 340 gsm, with a usable width of 140 cm and a 4.5 cm horizontal repeat. The design shows slim, evenly spaced blue stripes on a pale linen background, with a slightly serrated edge that gives the stripe a refined, decorative finish. The blue is clear and saturated, sitting closer to cobalt than navy, while the ground stays softly neutral and lightly textured in appearance. With no performance features noted, this colourway feels best suited to interiors where the fabric’s smart, classic stripe can be the focus.

How to use it

This blue-and-linen stripe works well in a scheme with white woodwork, pale oak and tailored cushions, where its cool clarity can sharpen the room. It is especially effective on upholstered chairs or bench seats, and would also suit structured drapery in a pared-back coastal or country interior.

Use with painted timber and crisp linen for a tailored, classic scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
