About this fabric

This Sanderson x Giles Deacon fabric has a substantial 402gsm handle and a usable width of 141cm, which gives the floral layout a confident, upholstery-friendly presence while still remaining suitable for drapery. The 60cm vertical repeat and 46cm horizontal repeat create a spacious, repeating bouquet that reads clearly across the cloth. In this colourway, the cream background is warmed by walnut-brown blooms, soft sage foliage and small blush accents, so the overall effect feels mellow rather than high-contrast. The woven surface appears finely detailed at 22 threads per cm, helping the petals and leaves keep their definition without looking harsh.

How to use it

Use this walnut-toned floral to soften larger furniture pieces, especially where you want pattern without strong colour saturation. It also works well in rooms with oak, linen and aged brass, where the creamy ground can keep the scheme light.

Pair with aged wood and muted greens for a refined country look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lakeland Paradis Walnut without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
