Faraday Velvet Stone
Sanderson x Giles Deacon Faraday Velvets VelvetSAF0423-01
Faraday Velvet Stone reads as a calm, stone-beige velvet with a gently lustrous surface. The stitched, lozenge-like repeat gives the design a neat graphic rhythm without disturbing its quiet tone.

About this fabric
This Sanderson x Giles Deacon velvet has a substantial 548 gsm handle, making it feel firmly upholstered rather than light or fluid. The 137 cm usable width and 10.3 cm vertical by 17.5 cm horizontal repeat suit tailored furniture, where the medium-scale pattern can sit clearly across cushions or chair fronts. In this colourway, the base is a soft stone beige with slightly warmer cream notes, while the darker outline lifts the motif just enough to keep the surface defined. The velvet pile catches the light softly, so the pattern appears flatter in shade and gently warmer where it reflects.
How to use it
Use this stone shade to soften dark wood, black metal, or tobacco leather, where its pale warmth keeps a room from feeling stark. It works especially well on formal seating or decorative cushions, bringing quiet pattern without strong colour contrast.
A restrained stone-toned velvet with subtle sheen and an ordered graphic repeat.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Faraday Velvet Stone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
