Marrienne Harvest

About this fabric

Part of Sanderson x National Trust Volume II, this fabric is supplied as a 129 cm-wide textile with a 46.5 cm vertical repeat, a 64 cm horizontal repeat and a substantial 410 gsm weight. The surface reads as a tightly woven decorative fabric, with 53 threads per cm giving the pattern a crisp, detailed finish in the image. This colourway mixes cream, oatmeal and warm stone with chestnut, terracotta-brown and soft sage accents, so the design feels autumnal rather than bright. The overall effect is refined and heritage-led, with enough body in the cloth to suit upholstery use.

How to use it

Its warm beige base and antique botanical colouring work well on a small armchair, banquette or bench where the pattern can be read at close range. Pair it with aged timber, brass and natural linens to keep the harvest palette grounded.

Use on classic seating or statement cushions to bring out the softly aged harvest palette.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Marrienne Harvest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
