Moat Birds Fawn/Harvest

Sanderson x National Trust Volume II FabricSAF0483-02

Moat Birds Fawn/Harvest shows a lively country-scene print set on a pale cream ground, with trees, birds and scattered foliage worked in warm fawn, olive and harvest tones. The design reads light and airy at first glance, but the layered detailing gives it plenty of character up close.

About this fabric

This Sanderson x National Trust Volume II fabric has a usable width of 139.5 cm, a 34.5 cm vertical repeat and a 69 cm horizontal repeat, so the motif is designed to flow across wider runs with a clear decorative rhythm. At 270 gsm and 44 threads per cm, it has enough substance to sit comfortably in a made-to-measure scheme rather than feeling flimsy. The colourway is soft and sunlit, with creamy ground space, muted fawn branches and fresh harvest accents that keep the print from becoming too heavy. Small birds and fine botanical sprigs add movement, while the overall effect stays gentle rather than high-contrast.

How to use it

Pair this warm fawn version with painted timber, linen blinds and relaxed upholstery in oat, moss or straw tones. It works especially well in rooms that want a natural, heritage feel without darkening the scheme.

Use it to bring a soft country-house feel with enough body for curtains or occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Moat Birds Fawn/Harvest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
