Manila Leaf Sunsoaked

Sheers FabricSAF0506-01

Manila Leaf Sunsoaked shows a soft cream ground lifted by flowing taupe leaf stripes. The sheer surface lets the repeat feel airy and lightly luminous rather than dense.

About this fabric

From Sanderson’s Sheers collection, this fabric is a 330gsm textile with a usable width of 136 cm and a vertical pattern repeat of 46.5 cm. The design reads as layered palm fronds drawn in fine taupe lines, set against a pale sunwashed cream ground that keeps the overall effect light. A horizontal repeat of 68 cm gives the motif its broad, rhythmic sweep, while the 30 threads per cm help preserve the crisp linework visible in the swatch. It is a decorative sheer that feels more polished than casual, with the warm neutral palette adding gentle depth without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want filtered daylight and a soft botanical note, especially in rooms with oak, linen or brushed brass. The warm cream base works neatly with pale walls, while the taupe pattern adds enough definition to stop the scheme feeling flat.

Best for airy curtains where the warm leaf motif can glow softly in natural light.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Manila Leaf Sunsoaked without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
