Cross Current Seaspray White

Cross Current in Seaspray White is a light, airy sheer with a softly diffused white ground and a subtle sea-washed tint. The woven linear pattern sits quietly across the cloth, letting daylight filter through with a calm, understated glow.

About this fabric
This Sanderson fabric has a generous usable width of 292 cm, making it especially well suited to wide drapery drops and seamless window dressing. At 122 gsm, it has the lightness expected of a sheer, while the 25.8 threads per cm give the cloth a fine, crisp hand visible in the delicate weave. The pattern repeat of 17.6 cm vertical and 18.6 cm horizontal forms a gentle grid-like rhythm that reads softly rather than sharply. In Seaspray White, the overall effect is a cool, pale off-white with the faintest hint of green-grey, giving the fabric a fresh, coastal brightness.
How to use it
Use this colourway where you want filtered daylight and a clean, breezy backdrop, especially in rooms with pale timber, limestone or painted joinery. Its muted seaspray cast feels calm rather than stark, so it layers easily with soft sage, driftwood and chalky neutrals.
A sheer, softly patterned white that keeps a room bright while adding gentle movement.

Pairs well with
Cross Current Seaspray White is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
