Tuscany Chalk

Tuscany II Weaves FabricSAF0130-10

Tuscany Chalk is a quietly textured weave in a soft chalk cream, with a gentle flecked surface that reads warm and natural rather than stark white. The close, basket-like structure gives the colourway a dry, tactile finish that feels relaxed and understated.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Tuscany II Weaves collection is specified at 137.5 cm usable width, 40 m standard length, 344 gsm and 56 threads per cm, with no pattern repeat horizontally or vertically. Visually, Tuscany Chalk shows a pale cream ground softened by tiny tonal slubs and a lightly mottled weave, so the surface has depth without any strong contrast. The colour sits between ivory and oat, with a quiet warmth that prevents it from looking cold. Its substantial 344 gsm weight and dense weave make it well suited to upholstery, especially where a calm neutral with visible texture is wanted.

How to use it

Use Tuscany Chalk on a sofa, banquette or dining chairs to soften timber, stone and brass finishes. Its chalky cream tone works especially well in layered neutral rooms, where the texture becomes the detail.

A calm chalky neutral that lifts oak, linen and muted colour schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
