Sea Fern Seaspray White

Sheers FabricSAF0504-01

Sea Fern Seaspray White is a light, airy sheer with a softly woven fern pattern that reads almost etched into the cloth. Its pale cream ground is lifted by a whisper of seafoam, giving the design a fresh, coastal calm.

About this fabric

This Sanderson sheer is sold as a fabric and has a generous usable width of 227.1 cm, making it well suited to broad curtain drops and layered window dressings. The design shows a delicate allover fern motif with a 24.6 cm vertical repeat and 23.4 cm horizontal repeat, so the pattern falls in graceful, evenly spaced columns. At 285 gsm and 25.8 threads per cm, it has a more substantial sheer handle than a gossamer voile, while still appearing light and translucent in the image. The colourway is a soft seaspray white: mostly creamy ivory with cool pale green undertones that catch the light gently rather than reading stark or bright.

How to use it

Use it where you want daylight softened rather than blocked, especially in rooms with pale timber, painted white joinery or washed linens. The seafoam tint pairs neatly with sandy neutrals and muted greens for a calm, coastal scheme.

A breezy sheer for softening windows with a fresh, coastal feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sea Fern Seaspray White without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
