About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is a substantial woven cloth at 344gsm, with a usable width of 137.5 cm and no pattern repeat, making the texture the main visual feature. The surface reads as a soft mushroom beige with gentle grey-beige notes, lifted by lighter slubs and the occasional pale thread that catch the light. Its basket-like weave gives the cloth a grounded, tactile finish without strong patterning. With 56 threads per cm, it has enough structure for versatile interior use, and the absence of repeat keeps cutting straightforward for larger upholstery or drapery projects.

How to use it

The warm, muted beige works especially well with natural oak, chalky whites and brushed brass, where its dry weave adds depth without dominating. Use it to soften a room that needs an understated, earthy neutral with a little more texture than a flat plain.

Use with timber, linen and soft taupes for an easy, grounded interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
