About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a substantial 344gsm handle and a usable width of 137.5cm, making it well suited to upholstery projects that need a confident, structured cloth. The weave is tight and evenly worked, with no pattern repeat, so the texture itself does the visual work rather than a printed motif. In this Espresso colourway, the brown sits on the warmer side of taupe, softened by muted grey-brown notes that stop it feeling too dark or too red. The thread density of 56 threads per cm helps create the crisp, compact surface visible in the swatch, while the overall effect remains tactile and understated.

How to use it

Use this shade on armchairs, ottomans or banquettes where a deep neutral is wanted without a flat finish. Its warm taupe-brown tone pairs especially well with oak, smoked timber and matte black detailing.
