About this fabric

This colourway shows a deep carbon shade with subtle charcoal variation, so the weave feels rich and grounded rather than glossy. The fabric’s tight, textured surface is visible across the swatch, and the 56 threads per cm specification supports that refined, closely woven appearance. At 344 gsm, it has the substantial weight you would expect for upholstery, while the 137.5 cm usable width makes it practical for larger projects. With no pattern repeat and no performance features noted, it is a straightforward plain weave that relies on texture and tone for its character.

How to use it

Use this carbon weave on a tailored armchair, ottoman or banquette where the dark tone can frame lighter woods, stone and linen. It also works well in scheme with warm neutrals and brushed metal details for a sharp, modern contrast.

A dense charcoal weave that gives modern upholstery a tailored, understated finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
