Penjing Ink Black/Gold

Water Garden Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0174-02

Penjing Ink Black/Gold places sculptural bonsai trees and decorated planters against a deep ink-black ground. The antique-gold detailing catches the light across the foliage, trunks and pot ornament, giving the scene a rich, almost metallic depth.

About this wallpaper

This wallpaper is printed at 150 gsm, with a 68.6 cm usable width and a standard length of 10.05 m. Its 64.1 cm vertical repeat arranges several distinct bonsai compositions, including spreading pine-like canopies, rounded clustered foliage and finely drawn branches. Against the cool charcoal-ink background, the gold trees and planters feel warm and softly aged rather than bright or brassy. The dense dark ground gives the large-scale botanical scene a formal, enveloping character.

How to use it

Use Penjing Ink Black/Gold on a feature wall where its cool ink ground can add depth, such as a dining room, library or bedroom. Balance the antique-gold foliage with aged brass, dark wood and warm neutral upholstery.

Use this deep ink-and-gold chinoiserie design to create a dramatic feature wall in a study, dining room or bedroom.

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
