Penjing Scallion Green

Water Garden Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0174-01

Penjing Scallion Green pairs a muted olive-khaki ground with pale bonsai trees, cream branches and softly patterned porcelain-style pots. The low-contrast green foliage gives the scene a calm, timeworn depth rather than a bright botanical lift.

About this fabric

The design shows staggered bonsai trees in shallow pots, with branching ivory trunks and layered foliage in scallion, sage and subdued yellow-green tones. Small pale blue details in the pots punctuate the olive ground without overpowering it. With a 64.1 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat, the arrangement reads as a continuous garden scene across the wall. The wallpaper has a 68.6 cm usable width, a standard length of 10.05 m and a listed weight of 150 gsm.

How to use it

Use it across a study, dining room or garden-facing sitting room where the muted olive ground can sit alongside warm timber, aged ivory and natural woven accents. Keep larger furnishings quiet so the varied bonsai silhouettes and pale pottery remain the focus.

Use this muted olive botanical paper to bring a composed Japanese-inspired garden character to a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
