About this fabric

This Sanderson x Giles Deacon fabric has a substantial 623 gsm weight, which supports its upholstery-led character, while the 133 cm usable width makes it practical for larger pieces. The pattern repeat is 17 cm across the width, creating regular vertical stripes that read crisp and orderly in the image. Visually, the olive green is toned down and slightly earthy rather than bright, so the contrast with the pale ground feels refined instead of bold. The surface appears densely woven with a fine, grainy texture that catches the light subtly and adds depth to the stripe.

How to use it

Use this muted olive colourway on an armchair, banquette or boxed cushion where the vertical stripe can bring height and structure. It pairs especially well with natural timber, warm neutrals and aged brass for a composed, layered scheme.

The warm olive striping feels tailored and works well on statement seating or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
