Tuscany II Eggplant

Tuscany II Weaves FabricSAF0352-37

Tuscany II Eggplant is a richly textured weave in a softened plum shade with a gentle, chalky finish. The close basket-like surface gives the colour a subtle depth rather than a glossy or uniform look.

About this fabric

This Sanderson Fabric has a usable width of 137.5 cm and a substantial weight of 344 gsm, giving the weave a confident, upholstery-friendly handle. The texture is clearly visible in the image: a tight, nubby structure with small irregular slubs that catch the light and break up the colour. With no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, it reads as a versatile plain rather than a directional design. The eggplant tone sits between mauve and plum, softened by a dusty grey cast so it feels elegant rather than vivid. Its 56 threads per cm specification supports the fine, dense appearance seen across the swatch.

How to use it

Use this muted eggplant on a tailored armchair, bench, or cushions where the woven texture can add quiet richness. It pairs especially well with pale oak, warm stone, and brushed brass for a smart, layered scheme.

A muted plum weave that adds depth without overpowering a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
