About this fabric

This Sanderson One Sixty Fabrics velvet has a usable width of 135 cm, a standard length of 60 m, and a substantial weight of 416 gsm, which suits upholstered pieces that benefit from body and presence. The large floral design repeats every 90.5 cm vertically and 135 cm horizontally, creating an expansive, statement-making pattern across the cloth. In this Wild Plum colourway, the ground reads as a saturated wine-plum tone, while the flowers bring flashes of peach, blush, magenta and apricot against dense green foliage. The velvet surface deepens the darker shades and gives the brighter petals a soft, light-catching richness.

How to use it

Use it on a sofa, ottoman or armchair where the deep plum ground can anchor a scheme and the oversized flowers can be seen clearly. It also makes striking cushions in a room with warm brass, dark timber or painted walls in muted green or chalky pink.
