About this fabric

Very Rose and Peony Velvet in Kingfisher/Rowan Berry is a 416 gsm velvet with a usable width of 135 cm, making it a substantial cloth for tailored upholstery projects. The design shows an abundant floral scatter of oversized blooms, with creamy petals, coral-orange roses, deep burgundy accents and dusky purple flowers layered over a bright kingfisher teal ground. The velvet pile softens the edges of the motif and gives the colourway a warm, saturated glow rather than a flat printed finish. With a 90.5 cm vertical repeat and 135 cm horizontal repeat, it is a large, dramatic pattern that reads best where the flowers can breathe.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring energy to a statement armchair, sofa or headboard, especially in rooms with brass, walnut or painted dark wood. The teal ground keeps the palette fresh while the coral and berry florals add warmth and depth.
