About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Tuscany II Weaves collection has a strong, upholstery-ready handle at 344gsm, with a usable width of 137.5cm and a substantial 56 threads per cm. The image shows a tightly woven plain surface in muted flint grey, with a slightly weathered, mineral quality rather than a flat, uniform finish. With no pattern repeat, it reads as an easy, textural ground that lets the weave itself provide interest. The tone sits in a cool grey register, giving the cloth a calm, tailored look that feels more refined than rustic.

How to use it

Use this shade on a clean-lined armchair, banquette or ottoman where the cool grey weave can act as a quiet backdrop. It pairs well with pale oak, charcoal and chalky off-whites for a restrained, contemporary scheme.

A cool, textured grey that brings a tailored, contemporary feel to seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
