Partridge & Pear Walnut/Harvest

Sanderson x National Trust Volume II FabricSAF0484-03

Partridge & Pear Walnut/Harvest pairs a soft cream ground with a repeating trail of walnut-toned birds, pears and leafy sprigs. The design feels orderly and decorative, with the motif sitting clearly against the lighter ground.

About this fabric

This Sanderson x National Trust Volume II fabric is a 300 gsm textile with a usable width of 141 cm, making it substantial enough for upholstery as well as structured drapery. The repeat is generous at 75.5 cm vertically and 141 cm horizontally, which suits the large, linked trellis arrangement visible across the cloth. In this colourway, the ground reads as warm ivory rather than stark white, while the pattern is worked in walnut, pear skin, olive and soft russet accents that give the surface a gentle autumnal warmth. The woven texture softens the print-like detail and helps the motif feel calm and traditional rather than busy.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, occasional chair or pelmet where the warm walnut details can sit against timber and aged brass. It also works well for curtains in rooms with cream walls, bringing a settled, heritage feel without darkening the space.

Use this for tailored curtains or elegant upholstery where the warm cream ground and walnut motif can read clearly.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Partridge & Pear Walnut/Harvest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
