About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has enough substance for soft furnishings while still feeling comfortable for curtains and blinds. The visible cloth has a natural, lightly textured surface that suits the watercolour style of the print, letting the purple and heather shades blur gently into olive, gold and misty beige accents. With a useable width of 138cm and a large 70cm horizontal repeat by 45.9cm vertical repeat, the pattern reads as a scenic statement rather than a small all-over motif. Dry clean only and iron safe, it is a practical decorative cloth for rooms that want colour without harsh contrast.

How to use it

Use Caledonianforest Purple in a sitting room, study or bedroom where its dusky purple trees can sit against oak, limestone and linen. It works especially well with pared-back furnishings, allowing the soft mauve highlights and watery neutrals to bring gentle depth.
