About this fabric

Woven in 53% linen and 47% cotton, Blair Purple has a medium-weight handle at 280gsm and a crisp, natural surface that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The large-scale thistle pattern is printed in saturated purple with fresh green stems and leaves, standing out cleanly against the pale ground. Its 34cm horizontal and 29cm vertical repeat give the design a confident, decorative rhythm without feeling crowded. Iron Safe finish and dry-clean-only care make it practical for tailored home textiles.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a lively botanical accent, such as relaxed curtains, roman blinds or cushions in a light-filled room. The bright purple works especially well with oak, linen-white and muted sage tones.

Pair with natural woods and soft neutrals to let the vivid thistle motif stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
