Cairngorms purple

Voyagecountry Fabriccairngo/fa1/dam

Cairngorms in Purple combines a fresh linen-cotton ground with a graphic woodland repeat in plum purple. The deer, trees and birds read clearly against the pale background, giving the fabric a calm country feel.

About this fabric

Woven from 53% linen and 47% cotton, this 287gsm fabric has enough substance for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings while still keeping a relaxed, natural handle. The 136cm usable width and 68cm by 52cm pattern repeat make the design practical for larger window treatments and tailored interior projects. In this colourway, the motif is printed in a muted plum purple that feels earthy rather than bright, with the off-white ground helping the silhouettes stand out cleanly. The overall effect is crisp, slightly rustic and easy to layer with timber, stone and quiet neutrals.

How to use it

Use this purple version in a country sitting room or bedroom where the deer and tree silhouettes can become a feature. It works especially well with oatmeal upholstery, weathered oak and soft grey paint.

Pair with natural woods and soft neutrals to let the woodland motif and plum tone stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
