Moorehaven purple
Tiverton Fabricmooreha/fa1/per
Moorehaven Purple brings a painterly floral pattern to a pale, cool ground, with soft lilac and violet petals lifted by green and blue accents. The overall effect is airy rather than heavy, but the weave and finish still feel substantial.

About this fabric
Woven in 60% cotton and 40% viscose, this fabric has a dry, slightly textural handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, while the 60,000 Martindale result also gives it the durability expected for more hard-working interior use. The design shows large, loosely drawn botanical forms in mauve, lavender, indigo and mossy green, set against an off-white ground that keeps the colourway light. Purple here reads muted and cool, with the softer lilac notes preventing the pattern from feeling overly saturated. Its 136 cm usable width and 45.3 cm by 64.5 cm repeat make the scale feel generous and decorative without overwhelming a room.
How to use it
Use Moorehaven Purple where you want pattern and colour without darkness: it works especially well on full-length curtains or Roman blinds in rooms with pale paintwork. The cool lilac ground tones beautifully with chalk white, silvered grey and washed timber.
Pairs well with pale wood and quiet neutrals for a fresh, tailored look.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Moorehaven purple without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
