Rockpool Purple shows the Riviera shell design in a pale, watercolour-led palette of lilac, lavender and muted blue. The white cotton ground keeps the print feeling light and fresh rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This colourway is printed on 100% cotton with a 230gsm weight, giving it a versatile mid-weight handle for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The shell motifs are washed in soft purple, pale blue, blush and shell-grey, with the white ground keeping the overall look bright and airy. The irregular painterly edges and gentle repeat of 45.33 cm horizontally and 40.7 cm vertically give the design a relaxed, coastal character. It is dry clean only and iron safe, so it suits made-up pieces that need a neat finish without losing the softness of the print.

How to use it

Use Rockpool Purple to bring a calm, seaside note to bedroom curtains, Roman blinds or scatter cushions. Its muted lilac shading pairs well with white-painted wood, weathered oak and chalky blue-greys.

A breezy shell print in pale lilac tones that brings an airy coastal feel to curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
