Rockpool blue

Riviera Fabricrockpoo/fa1/cob

Rockpool Blue pairs a crisp white ground with softly painted seashell motifs in aqua, pale blue and sand-washed tones. The result is airy and coastal, with the shells feeling light and watercolour-soft rather than bold or graphic.

About this fabric

This 100% cotton fabric has a natural handle at 230gsm, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, with an iron-safe finish and dry clean only care. The shell design is printed in a loose watercolour style, with each motif edged in washed aqua, blush, coral and muted beige against the bright background. Rockpool Blue reads cooler than warmer sea-life colourways, thanks to its pale blue shellwork and the amount of white space between motifs. The usable width is 136cm, and the large horizontal and vertical repeats of 45.33cm and 40.7cm give the design plenty of presence when made up into window treatments.

How to use it

Use it in a sunroom, coastal bedroom or relaxed sitting room where the pale blue shells can keep the scheme fresh and light. It works especially well with painted white timber, sand-coloured linens and weathered oak.

A breezy shell print that suits relaxed coastal interiors and light-filled rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
