Cheriton blue

Tiverton Fabriccherito/fa1/sky

Cheriton Blue shows a painterly scattering of oversized botanical forms in soft blue-green, sage and lilac tones across a pale ground. The effect is airy and expressive, with the leaf shapes feeling light rather than dense.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a natural, lightly textured handle that suits soft window dressing. The design is printed with large botanical motifs in washed blue, teal, moss and mauve, and the pale background keeps the overall look fresh. At 230gsm with a usable width of 136cm, it has enough substance for curtains and blinds while still reading as a graceful decorative cloth. The 68cm horizontal repeat and 48.7cm vertical repeat support the generous scale of the pattern, and the Iron Safe finish makes it practical to press after dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use Cheriton Blue in a bedroom, garden room or relaxed living space where its cool, watery palette can soften wood, rattan and painted finishes. It works especially well with chalky whites, weathered oak and muted green accents.

Ideal for curtains or blinds where the painterly blue-green leaves can drift softly across a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
