Colyford green

Tiverton Fabriccolyffi/fa1/pom

Colyford Green brings a fresh, painterly botanical look to the Tiverton collection, with broad leaf forms and a perched bird set against a pale ground. The green palette feels cool and airy, with brighter aqua notes and softer sage tones woven through the design.

About this fabric

Printed on a 95% cotton and 5% linen base, this fabric has a relaxed mid-weight handle at 230gsm and is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The large-scale repeat of 68cm horizontally and 79cm vertically supports the generous jungle-style motif, with layered leaves, a vivid bird and touches of coral and teal giving the cloth its character. In this colourway the greens read fresh rather than heavy, lifted by the light ground and translucent brushy edges that keep the pattern feeling open. It is dry clean only and iron safe, with no fire retardant noted and the alternative SKU COLYFORD/3947.

How to use it

Use Colyford Green for statement curtains, Roman blinds or cushions where its airy green leaves can bring movement to a room. It works especially well with rattan, pale oak and chalky neutrals, which let the cooler green notes stay crisp.

Pair with natural woods and pale neutrals to let the lively foliage print feel fresh rather than busy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Colyford green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
