Iveswaters Blue shows a coastal aquarium of painted fish and drifting fronds, all softened into a pale, watery ground. The overall effect is airy and fluid, with blue, teal and lilac tones floating across the cloth.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a comfortable 230gsm handle and is supplied at 136cm usable width, making it well suited to curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The print combines translucent fish scales, mottled fins and seaweed stems in a cool, brushed watercolour style, all set against a fresh off-white ground. In this colourway the blues stay light and washed-out rather than saturated, so the design feels breezy and coastal rather than bold. Care is dry clean only and it can be cool ironed; the pattern repeat is 68cm horizontal by 36cm vertical.
How to use it
Use Iveswaters Blue for relaxed curtains or Roman blinds where the pale ground can lift a room and the large-scale fish motif can be seen clearly. It works especially well with driftwood, white-painted furniture and other soft blue-green accents.
Pair with pale oak and chalky neutrals to keep the watery blues feeling fresh and light.
