About this fabric

Woven in 78% cotton and 22% polyester, this fabric has the tactile, slightly nubbly character you can see in the close-up image, which gives the floral lines a relaxed, hand-drawn look. The palette is cool and airy, built from misty blue, sage green and restrained gold accents on an ivory ground, so the design reads fresh rather than bright. With a 140cm width, 15,000 Martindale rub test and suitability for curtains, blinds and upholstery, it is a versatile mid-weight choice for soft furnishings. The 35cm horizontal repeat and 50cm vertical repeat support larger-scale pattern placement without losing the open, breathable feel of the cloth.

How to use it

Use it on curtains or a tailored occasional chair where the soft blue ground detail can lift a neutral room. It sits especially well with limestone, weathered oak and brushed brass.

Pair with warm neutrals and pale woods to keep the airy botanical motif feeling fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
