About this fabric

Woven in 78% cotton and 22% polyester, Mercia Green is a versatile textile that works for curtains, blinds and upholstery, and it carries a 15000 Martindale rub count. The fabric shows a pale sage background with a clear linen-like weave, giving the surface a light, tactile look rather than a flat printed finish. Across the cloth, the botanical trail reads in muted moss, teal, olive, brown and blush tones, so the overall effect is fresh but quietly earthy. The 140 cm width and 35 cm by 37.5 cm repeat make it practical for patterned upholstery or soft furnishings where the trailing motif can be shown off.

How to use it

Use this colourway to soften a room with timber, painted shaker furniture or neutral upholstery, where the sage ground keeps the scheme light. It also works well in a garden-facing space, bringing a relaxed botanical note without feeling overly bright.

A fresh sage ground with painterly leaf tones that feels calm but still lively.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
