Pennington multi has a soft cream ground scattered with sketched botanical stems, leaves and flowers in muted pastel shades. The linen-look weave keeps the print feeling fresh and lightly textured.

About this fabric

Woven in 78% cotton and 22% polyester, this fabric is a substantial 594 gsm with a 15000 Martindale rating, and it is suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. The design shows a pale ivory-cream base with delicate multicoloured embroidery-style leaf outlines in blush pink, teal, moss and lilac, giving the surface a gently hand-drawn look. Its 140 cm width and 35 cm horizontal by 50 cm vertical pattern repeat make it practical for larger-scale furnishings. Dry clean only and iron safe, it is a versatile mid-weight cloth with enough body for upholstery yet an open enough feel for drapery.

How to use it

Pair Pennington multi with weathered oak, pale painted finishes and muted accent colours to let the pastel detailing stand out. It works especially well on a statement armchair or relaxed curtains where the cream ground can keep the room bright.

Use this airy cream print to soften a room while the sketchy multicoloured leaves add movement.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pennington multi without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
