Rydal pink

Penningtonweaves Fabricrydal/fa1/ros

Rydal Pink shows a loose trailing floral pattern on an ivory ground, with blush, berry and leaf tones stitched through a visible woven texture. The colourway feels light and airy, with the pinks softened rather than sugary.

About this fabric

This Rydal Pink fabric from Voyage Maison’s Penningtonweaves collection is composed of 78% cotton and 22% polyester, with a substantial 594gsm weight and a 15,000 Martindale rub test. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery, and the 140cm width with a 35cm horizontal and 37.5cm vertical repeat supports patterned work across larger pieces. Visually, the design reads as an embroidered botanical scatter: muted blush petals, berry accents, fresh green leaves and pale blue-grey details sit over an off-white base. The overall effect is gentle and springlike, but the weave and weight give it enough presence to work beyond soft furnishings alone. It is dry clean only and iron safe, with no fire retardant treatment noted.

How to use it

Use Rydal Pink to soften a bedroom chair, window seat or drawn curtains where the blush ground can brighten the room without feeling bold. It pairs especially well with chalky whites, weathered oak and greyed greens, which pick up the cooler leaves in the pattern.

Use with natural timber and pale neutrals to let the pink-and-green embroidery-style motif stay fresh.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Rydal pink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
