Seaweed pink
Riviera Fabricseaweed/fa1/aba
Seaweed Pink is a lively watercolour botanical on a bright white ground, with airy stems and leaf forms brushing across the cloth in pink, coral, sage and cool blue tones. The overall effect is fresh and painterly, with plenty of movement and lightness.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% cotton and suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, this fabric has a soft handle and a relaxed decorative feel. The design is built from scattered, hand-painted floral and leaf shapes in blush pink, mauve, teal, sage and pale gold, all sitting on a clean white background. Its 68cm horizontal repeat and 78.8cm vertical repeat help give the pattern a generous, flowing rhythm, while the 230gsm weight keeps it versatile rather than heavy. Cool iron and dry clean only care make it practical for tailored window treatments where the watercolour effect can be seen to best advantage. Seaweed Pink reads especially bright and uplifting because the pinks are softened by plenty of pale ground and cool misty accents.
How to use it
This colourway works well in light-filled rooms where the white ground can lift the space and the pinks add a gentle wash of colour. Pair it with soft grey, chalk white or pale timber for a fresh scheme, or echo the teal touches in cushions and trims.
Use with pale woods and chalky neutrals to let the watercolour foliage stay fresh and airy.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Seaweed pink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
