About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a natural hand and a comfortable midweight feel at 230gsm. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, and the 136cm usable width makes it practical for a range of interior projects. The abstract vertical brush marks read as soft lilac purple at first glance, then open out into cooler denim blues, teal notes and occasional blush pink accents. Dry clean only care and a cool iron finish make it best suited to decorative applications rather than hard-wearing upholstery.

How to use it

Use Tide Purple where you want colour that feels washed, fresh and slightly artistic rather than strong or jewel-like. It works well with white woodwork, pale oak and muted blue or sage accents.

A fresh painterly coordinate that brings soft colour without overwhelming a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
