Seaurchin Purple shows the Riviera design as a repeated shell motif in soft plum, lilac, grey and misty blue tones. The watercolour finish keeps the pattern light and airy rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This Voyage Maison Riviera fabric is 100% cotton with a 230gsm weight, making it a versatile textile for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The shell-like circles are arranged in a regular repeat, with each motif rendered in washed purples, silver greys and hints of blue on a clean pale ground. A horizontal pattern repeat of 45.33cm and vertical repeat of 26.5cm create a clear, decorative rhythm across the cloth. The overall effect of Seaurchin Purple is cool and softly muted, with the purple notes sitting gently within the design rather than reading as a bright, saturated statement. Care is dry clean only, with a cool iron finish if needed.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern without darkness: it sits beautifully with oyster paint, pale oak and brushed nickel. The cooler purple-grey palette also works well in coastal rooms, especially on relaxed curtains or cushion covers.

Pair with pale woods and chalky neutrals to let the painterly shell motif stay fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
