Pebbles grey

Riviera Fabricpebbles/fa1/sla

Pebbles Grey brings the Riviera collection’s pebble motif into a soft, watercolour grey palette. The scattered shapes feel calm and coastal, with cool blue-grey and taupe tones sitting over a pale ground.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a 230gsm handle and is supplied at 147cm wide with a 136cm usable width, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The 68cm horizontal and vertical repeat supports the design’s loose, all-over scatter of pebble-like forms. In this colourway the washed greys, misty blues and muted stone notes read cool and airy rather than heavy, with just enough depth to keep the pattern visible. Dry clean only and suitable for cool ironing, it is a decorative cotton with a crisp but relaxed finish.

How to use it

Use Pebbles Grey where you want a soft coastal pattern that still feels composed, especially in rooms with chalky paint, pale oak or weathered timber. It works particularly well with soft blues, sage accents and natural textures that echo the pebble effect.

A soft, coastal grey that layers easily with pale timber, blue accents and washed linen.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pebbles grey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
