About this fabric

This colourway shows a cool, dove-grey ground broken by fine flecks of lighter and darker yarn, creating a subtle heathered effect across the weave. The fabric is 140cm wide with a usable width of 140cm, and its 315gsm weight gives it enough substance for upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. Made from 44% polyester, 40% cotton and 16% acrylic, it has a dry, tactile handle and is Iron Safe, while the 20,000 Martindale rating makes it suitable for everyday seating. With no pattern repeat, the texture itself provides the interest, keeping the look understated and easy to layer.

How to use it

Use Selkirk Grey on an armchair or dining chair for a tailored, easy-going finish, or bring it into blinds and full-length curtains for a crisp, muted backdrop. Its cool grey tone pairs neatly with pale oak, chalk white and deeper charcoal accents.

A versatile grey with a subtle, nubby texture that suits tailored upholstery or softly structured curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
