Musselshells grey

Riviera Fabricmussels/fa1/sla

Musselshells Grey shows the Riviera design as a loose, painterly shell motif on an ivory ground, with watery washes of grey, blue and green. The effect is airy and cool, with each shell shape outlined in soft, brushed tones.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a usable width of 136cm and a cloth-like handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The large 45.33cm horizontal repeat and 47.4cm vertical repeat give the shell artwork plenty of room to open out across a window treatment. In this colourway, the palette reads as misty grey with pale sea-glass blue, sage and charcoal accents, so the design feels soft rather than stark. Dry clean only, with a cool iron if needed, it offers an easygoing decorative finish for relaxed coastal schemes.

How to use it

Use Musselshells Grey where you want the pattern to feel calm and spacious, especially on full-length curtains or Roman blinds. Its cool shell tones sit well beside weathered oak, pale linen and brushed pewter details.

Pair with chalky neutrals or muted blue-green accents to echo its watery, hand-painted feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
