Torquay green
Tiverton Fabrictorquay/fa1/pom
Torquay Green has a fresh, airy botanical look, with slender trailing leaves in layered greens across a warm natural ground. Small berry dots in coral, clay and muted blush add a soft lift to the palette.

About this fabric
Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has the crisp, breathable feel that suits drapes and relaxed interiors, while the 230gsm weight gives it enough substance for soft furnishings too. The visible ground is a pale oatmeal tone, which makes the green leafwork read especially clear and lightly textured rather than heavy. In Torquay Green, the foliage mixes seafoam, sage, teal and olive notes, so the pattern feels cool and botanical without becoming stark. The 46.6cm horizontal repeat and 61cm vertical repeat support the large-scale trailing design, and the 140cm usable width is practical for curtain making and coordinated blinds. Dry clean only; cool iron.
How to use it
Use Torquay Green in a light-filled room with natural oak, rattan and chalky paint colours to echo its soft coastal freshness. The muted green palette also works well with terracotta accents or warm stone accessories to bring out the coral-toned berries.
Pair with sandy neutrals and pale timber to keep the fresh, airy feel.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Torquay green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
