Netherton green

Tiverton Fabricnethert/fa1/pom

Netherton Green shows the Tiverton design as a light, painterly woodland scene with birds and trailing leaves set over a pale ground. The green tones are soft and fresh, with hints of aqua, sage and moss that keep the pattern airy rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This fabric is a 95% cotton, 5% linen textile with a usable width of 140cm, a total width of 145cm and a substantial 230gsm weight. The surface has the look of a natural woven ground, which suits the gently washed effect of the foliage and bird motif. In this colourway, the greens read cool and leafy, balanced by muted blue-greens and small touches of coral-pink that lift the design. The 35cm horizontal repeat and 79cm vertical repeat create a large-scale pattern that feels decorative without becoming dense.

How to use it

Use this colourway for curtains or relaxed upholstered pieces where the pale ground can brighten a room and the green leaf tones can echo houseplants or garden views. It works especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and muted blush accents.

Use with natural timbers and pale linen shades to let the painterly birds and foliage stay fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
