About this fabric

The pattern is composed of repeated pomegranate forms, leaves and delicate stems in a fresh, pale green that leaves plenty of the ivory ground visible between motifs. Its 55cm vertical and 46.5cm horizontal repeat gives the closely illustrated design a noticeable but not oversized scale. Woven at 252gsm with 38 threads per centimetre and a 139.7cm usable width, it has the substance to work across both upholstery and drapery applications. The restrained green-and-ivory contrast keeps the overall effect light rather than dramatic.

How to use it

Use this colourway to brighten a relaxed sitting room, reading nook or bedroom, especially alongside chalky whites, pale oak and woven natural textures. Its soft green tone also works well as a gentle botanical accent on curtains, cushions or an occasional chair.

Pair the fresh pale green botanicals with natural timber, ivory upholstery and softly textured neutral linens.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Melograno Forest/First Light without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
