About this fabric

At 476 gsm, this substantial woven fabric is well suited to upholstery, with a useable width of 137 cm. The small botanical-looking motifs run in vertical lines, creating a gently striped rhythm rather than a bold, open-scale pattern. Its cool sage tone is softened by the warm shiitake-cream detail, while the visible woven surface adds quiet depth across the colourway. The pattern repeats every 15.5 cm vertically and 22.6 cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use the muted sage as a restful upholstery colour on a chair, headboard or sofa, pairing it with warm ivory, pale timber and understated natural textures. The narrow vertical arrangement can also add a subtle sense of height to tailored furniture.

Use this pale, cool sage with warm ivory, light oak and natural linen for a softly refined upholstery scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
