About this fabric

The design is made up of fine twig-like motifs that run in repeated vertical bands, with the pale incense background keeping the overall effect light and legible. Its cornflower blue is softened rather than vivid, creating a calm, slightly faded contrast against the warm neutral ground. At 476 gsm and 86 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial, closely formed presence suited to upholstery. It has a 137 cm usable width, with a 15.5 cm vertical repeat and 22.6 cm horizontal repeat for planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Use this cool cornflower-and-incense colourway on a buttoned chair, window seat or tailored headboard, where the narrow vertical rhythm can emphasise the form. Pair it with warm ivory, chalky taupe or pale timber to echo the ground without competing with the blue branches.
