Azora purple

iKon Fabricazora/fa1/vio

Azora Purple shows a richly woven surface with a soft, speckled blend of lilac, plum and warm neutral threads. The overall effect is muted and textural, with the purple reading as layered rather than bright.

About this fabric

Part of the iKon collection by Voyage Maison, Azora Purple is a fabric with a 46% Polyester, 54% Acetate composition and a 140cm width, supplied here as a textile rather than wallpaper. The weave has a compact, small-scale texture with a 35cm horizontal repeat and a 96cm vertical repeat, giving the surface an ordered but lively look. In this colourway, purple sits beneath threads of taupe, cream, grey and touches of gold, so the finish feels softened and slightly heathered rather than bold. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, and the dry-clean-only care plus Iron Safe note suit a tailored decorative application.

How to use it

Use Azora Purple where you want a gentle hit of colour against pale stone, warm grey or walnut finishes. Its muted plum-lilac tone works especially well in smart living rooms and bedrooms that need texture without strong contrast.

A versatile purple weave that adds subtle colour and texture without overpowering a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
