About this fabric

This upholstery fabric combines 40% viscose, 32% cotton and 28% polyester for a woven handle that reads firm and practical in the hand. The 137 cm width and 45,000 Martindale rub test make it well suited to seating and other hard-working interior pieces. In this colourway, the saffron ground feels earthy rather than bright, with a mellow golden base and darker threads that give the small repeating pattern clear definition. The H4 x V2.5 repeat creates a tight, rhythmic surface that feels tailored and smart rather than busy.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, ottoman or banquette where the warm saffron tone can lift darker woods and leather. It also works well against chalky neutrals and muted olive accents for a rich, layered scheme.

A lively saffron tone that adds warmth and pattern without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
