Brocatello Mimosa

Constantina Damask Wallpapers WallpaperZOW0020-05

Brocatello Mimosa presents a pale mimosa-yellow ground overlaid with softly contrasting grey damask scrollwork. The close view shows a gently mottled surface that gives the colourway subtle depth rather than a flat, saturated yellow.

About this fabric

The ornate repeat combines scrolling acanthus-like leaves, curling tendrils and symmetrical floral medallions in a softened grey tone against the warm yellow ground. Its 76.2 cm vertical repeat gives the damask a generous, formal scale, while the horizontal repeat is listed as 0 cm. Supplied at a 68.6 cm usable width and a standard length of 10.05 m, this wallpaper is specified at 159 gsm. Light catches the yellow areas unevenly across the surface, creating a mellow, softly aged impression.

How to use it

Use Brocatello Mimosa where a room needs warmth without a strong ochre statement: it suits a drawing room, bedroom or hallway alongside chalky neutrals, pale grey and softly aged timber. The grey ornament helps temper the yellow and keeps the overall effect elegant rather than bright.

Use this softly luminous yellow and grey damask to bring gentle period character to a refined room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
