About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted moss-green linen ground with painterly cream blooms, yellow centres and deeper olive leaves, giving the design a gentle springlike lift. Woven in 100% linen, it has the dry, natural texture you can see across the cloth, which suits the fabric’s fixed upholstery use. With a Martindale rub test of 30,000 and an upholstery grade of General Domestic, it is made for everyday seating rather than purely decorative use. It also conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the 137cm width makes it practical for domestic upholstery projects. The 27cm half-drop repeat is substantial enough to show the pattern’s rhythm clearly without losing the relaxed character of the moss ground.

How to use it

Use Polly Moss on an accent chair, ottoman or banquette where the soft green ground can bring in colour without overwhelming the room. It works especially well with pale timber, wicker, chalky whites and other earthy greens.
